Cracker Gal

This original typewritten manuscript is a never before released version from my late Grandmother, Marilyn Harris Craig. The story is of a writer living in New York City returning to her small hometown community to memorialize her relative lost at sea. Not only a terrific story, the novel is a detailed depiction of the historic fishing communities dotted on the Florida coast and it's colorfully charactered inhabitants. She attempted to publish the novels on numerous occasion but to no avail. The novel was written perhaps as early as the 1960's or maybe 1970's in her retirement in Ochlockonee Bay, Florida.
