The Last Dugga Boy by Mark E Benecke
The Last Dugga Boy is set in Zambia’s Luangwa Valley, where a buffalo hunt goes badly wrong.
Roger Biggs comes to Africa to hunt an old dagga boy buffalo, but after a dangerous charge leaves him badly injured, he finds himself stranded in a remote safari camp far from help. While waiting for a doctor to arrive, tensions rise between Roger, the professional hunter Dennis, the tracker Cipo, and Sarah, a National Geographic photographer documenting the safari.
What began as a hunt slowly becomes something more personal as pride, frustration, and old wounds surface under the pressure of the African bush.
