A president cuts a deal with a life-incarcerated prisoner and two scientists gain the resources to prove their theory: a particle field can be created in another dimension, allowing a boson to strip mass. But it has one serious flaw. If begun, it can swallow an entire planet. Only two of the most unlikely heroes can halt the inevitable. The only problem is they have no idea where the scientists are. They have no idea who or even what the prisoner is. But the increasing pace of attempts to kill the duo proves they’re getting close. The countdown has begun.
