Contains three unrelated texts, yet they are inextricably linked. The author, Bugmann, lived on a property created by two convicts during the colonial era of 'Van Diemen's Land', where she researched, translated, wrote and published over thirty English Karl May books. The texts are: Reasearch to name and family tree 'Bugmann'; history of two Tasmanian convicts (2026 addendum of research into unique localized ecotype of viola tricolor); personal log detailing the author's journey along the Karl May translations.
