Habituellement imprimé en 3-5 jours ouvrés
The minister’s vestry at Galeed Chapel, Brighton, is dominated by three large portraits hanging above the fireplace. The centrepiece is a portrait of Mr J. K. Popham (1847-1937), the pastor at Galeed between 1883 and 1937. Either side hang large portraits of two of his faithful deacons: John Marshall (1826-1905) and Daniel Combridge (1828-1915). John Marshall and Daniel Combridge were close friends in life, and had a spiritual friendship which, from all records, must have been like that of David and Jonathan in the Bible. Hence the title given to this little book – Brotherly Love. This volume brings together the autobiographies of Daniel Combridge and John Marshall, together with the obituaries of their wives, and some relevant letters. The reprint also contains copies of a rare album of photos of ministers who preached at Galeed in its early years.
