I carried me here

Somewhere along the way I realized no one was coming to save me. So I started writing. Not to be strong but to survive. I carried me here is my way of holding everything I could not say out loud. The grief. The confusion. The strength I did not know I had. These poems are not written from a place of knowing. It’s all still a process. But if you are anything like me, if you have ever felt like you were too much or not enough, if you have ever had to pick yourself up off the floor and keep going, then maybe this book can sit with you the way it sat with me.
