Reality Check

In this the first installment of IN TIMES LIKE THESE, Reality Check, we find Mark a 40 year old gay man who is currently unemployed do to corporate lay offs in his company. We are introduced to him and his lover of three years, Jared, his best friend and former boyfriend Kevin, and his other friend Terry, and former boyfriend of Kevin. Kevin, trying to bring Mark out of his depressed state of mind invites him to a shopping spree a few miles from their home in Cincinnati. They travel south into Kentucky only to find themselves is a combination of misadventures and have to call upon Terry and Jared to bail them out. The first story deals with the meaning of friendships, relationships, and how society looks upon gay men.
