He is THE LONE RIDER'S good friend, and they share many adventures as they ride across the Wild West; he also has many adventures on his own, encountering both good and evil among both the white man and his native brothers. He is SWIFT ARROW, whose strong sense of justice ensures that he will put himself in harms' way when honor demands. He is a courageous warrior, but a lover of piece. His actions bring honor to the legend of Native American heroes. This collection presents all the appearances of SWIFT ARROW. Many of his stories were reprinted in later issue and other series', often retitled; in this case we have used his earliest version. A few stories are themselves reprints of an earlier story where the character is named Golden Arrow; in these cases we have published the Swift Arrow version. We presume that the character name was changed early on to avoid confusion or legal issues with the Fawcett Golden Arrow.
