The robot has to go to school from Kindergarten to college and live life for 21 years to properly develop its human cognition. Mitchell Kwok proposed the robot college test in 2005-2006. In it, he states: “If the robot can graduate from a 4 year college with a difficult degree such as a computer science degree or engineering degree, then it has achieved human level artificial intelligence. An Art degree doesn't count.” In 2031 the Na Robots company wanted to pass the robot college test and decided to send their latest robot to public school to properly learn its cognition. The robot named first AI was the first sentient robot to enter the public school system. The researchers at NA knew their software has the capacity to acquire human levels of intelligence. In order for them to prove to the world that their robots have achieved this milestone, they decided to send First AI to James Parker Elementary School and Intermediate School. Parts of grade school were skipped because the robot understood the vast majority of basic skills and motor functions. After graduating from Elementary and middle school, the robot entered high school where his social skills are put to the test.
