Officer Richard Branson, a small country town detective in Oxford, North Carolina, finds himself at the center of a science experiment gone completely wrong. A homicide on the very front steps of the police station leaves nothing in it’s wake but a small child, questions and discovery of an unbelievable compound deep within the cold surrounding woods. As a snow storm begins to blanket the small town, Richard and his partner find themselves stalked, literally, by the shadows that go bump in the night.
