Twelve-year-old Willow Bennet has grown up with the man who kidnapped her as a young girl. She has accepted her life with him, calling him Father and making no attempt to escape or gain contact with the outside world. But with the arrival of newly kidnapped siblings fifteen-year-old Mary and eight-year-old Joshua, she begins to realize that maybe her decision to accept what her life has become had been influenced by hidden fears about what her family truly thought of her. With a sudden tragic event, Willow finds herself alone in a vast nature preserve with the lives of her friends depending on her. Can she find the truth about her family? Will she be able to escape with her life and save her friends? And if she does, how will her life be forever changed?
