From Grace to Glory

Grace Wright spent 20 years loving the wrong man. Now, she is committed to reclaiming her life even if it does mean living in a homeless shelter and working at Taco Glory. She knows that God never gives you more than you can bear. In this short thriller, Grace’s faith will be tested beyond anything she could have possibly imagined. “Was God a joke or The Great Joker,” she asks. Her answer is more immense than she could have ever dreamed. Grace not only discovers herself, but the source of her own strength and power. How did I come to write this short story? The plot woke me up at 1:00 am one morning. I sketched it on paper and went back to sleep. I did nothing with the plot until I had a writing assignment from a class I took in college. That is when the story took on a life of its own.
