The Inconvenient Galilean attempts to elevate the benefit and necessity of individual spirituality while warning of the shortcomings of group zealotry. It imagines the value of the divine pleasure to be enjoyed by our own mortality with a credo of brotherhood and community. At the same time the author does not shy from comedy and satire when he gives a slight nod to the English bard in a salute to Shakespeare.
