The Epistle of Paul to Philemon is a very small New Testament Book. It is nestled between the epistles to Titus and the Hebrews. However, though this Book of Philemon is small, it is bursting with Meaning and with important Knowledge that we, as Christians, ought to desire to attain and possess for our own. Much of the Meaning and Knowledge that is to be discovered in the Epistle to Philemon, can be uncovered through an examination of the relationship that existed between Philemon and Onesimus (and also the relationships of these two men with the Apostle Paul). I certainly believe that there is much that we can learn from this Epistle, and from the ways that these men related one to another. I hope that this little book that I have written will help both you and me to attain some of the Knowledge and understand some of the Meaning that is contained within the confines of the Epistle of Paul to Philemon.
