If only they knew

Although a 'stand alone' story,"If only they knew" is vol.1 of the 'Crystal Hearts' trilogy. Vol.2, "The Price" and vol.3, "Cual Sera" are the other linked but independent novels available as companions to this volume. It is a tale of one man's confusion and mental torment, suffered through moral ineptitude. Written in a biographical style,it describes the dilemma in wanting everything but finding little satistfaction in anything; of 'sitting on the fence' knowing that on neither side would he find peace of mind. With constant guilt and discretion, he lives a stressed, dual life and even comes to naively believe in its sustainability. Ultimately, though inevitable circumstances, his lifestyle is shattered by the person who had shown so much affection to him. He is offered a choice but succumbs to moral cowardice thus denying himself the relationship he so desperately wanted.
