In a future society where gender roles have reversed 180 degrees, Wil Kasey is a Records Technician at the South Central Information Storage Center. An attractive man with aspirations of being a respected historian, he is reasonably content with his life except for one major quandary: he is still a virgin. While researching his current project, he is determined to interview an old recluse who was the last man to hold a Director position in North America. As a result, Wil uncovers a disturbing secret experiment that had occurred years earlier at the local Health Center. Before he can pursue his own investigation, he is charged with the murder of the former Director. He must then deal with society's efficiently swift system of Justice, the scrutiny of an intimidating Director of Security, and the attentions of a primitively ambitious dissident group. All of this, however, remains secondary to his simultaneous quest for sexual normalcy.
