Richard (Rick) Shaw is an Eagle Scout, a 70-year veteran of the Boy Scouts of America (Scouting America), mostly in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a retired architect who worked for the same engineering firm for 50 years. He was the Scoutmaster of one troop for 39 years. This book describes the adventures and misadventures of the Scouts and adult leaders over those years and the challenges and rewards of turning young boys into young men. It also covers the time before and after his time as a Scoutmaster.
