Extended Lifetime Warranty

Recently my neighbor Jerry and I were commiserating about our aches and pains. We are getting older and as Jerry contemplated surgery he wished that he could get an extended warranty. Brilliant idea. Wouldn’t it be great to extend the warranty on our aging bodies just like we extended the warranty on our tractors? Face it, all men and women, living as we do under the shadow of death, wrestle with our mortality. As we wear down we long for something beyond ourselves.
