Carpe Diem. Seize the day. How many of us actually begin each day with such an attitude? Habits and cultural rules combine with our own limited view of our potential to prevent many of us from living full, happy lives – from really seizing the day. This short book offers no new set of rules to live by. Instead the author provides a few thoughts or guides to help us free our spirit from the blinders our cultural and religious heritage has used to limit what we believe about who we are and what we can accomplish.
The author reports that he began by writing many of the ideas in short essays and sharing them with friends who then shared them with others. Simple and logical in approach, these ideas have been described as "life-changing." Many responded to his writing, urging him to put them together into a book. This is the result of that effort.
