After surviving a brain hemorrhage at the age of seventeen, Naylor reflects on his life, beliefs, and sense of self. Through a collection of poems written in both verse and freestyle, along with a short story about his time in the hospital and his internal struggles, he examines his experiences in his town, friendships, romantic relationships, jobs, and his relationship with God.
