Time Is Running Out

"Time is running out" is a phrase that keeps coming up in Coach Alter's life. For Coach Alter, basketball was an important aspect of his life. Alter's religious views built the foundation of the way his program was ran. For years, Alter gave an optional prayer before and after every game he has ever coached. It had never been a problem, until the parents of Alexis Vikes, freshman point guard, hear about this game day ritual. When her parents take the issue to the school board, Coach Alter and the Rosewood Ravens must cope with many distractions and issues surrounding their team. As the controversy of school and church strengthens, Coach Alter finds himself in a battle with his job and his beliefs, and wonders if his "time is running out."
