Play Acoustic Guitar 1

Play Acoustic Guitar 1 is a collection of original guitar pieces composed by the Norwegian guitarist Sølvin Refvik. In this book you will find music with titles like Breez, Wind, Sweet Romance, Pray, Six preludes and the suite Twelve Months. This is guitar music in different styles using various techniques on the instrument. It is ideal for the guitarist and guitar teacher looking for new pieces to add to their repertoire. The music is clearly set out and printed in standard notation as well as tabs. You can hear the influences from the great classical guitar composers, but also elements from jazz music are present in melody lines and harmonies. This is romantic, idiomatic and melodic music which sounds good on the guitar. The music in Play Acoustic Guitar 1 is suited for the guitarist on an intermediate level, although some of the pieces may be easier. There is no CD enclosed with this book. Instead, you can listen to recordings of the music on YouTube (srefvik) and at www.spilletrille.no
