Prepping For Surgery

Once they left me alone I took my fantasy novel out and resumed my reading. I forgot to have my laptop with me and so instead of the internet, off to reading I went. My solitude was broken when a nurse came in asking me to take off my regular clothes and replace it with a hospital gown, the really weird looking gown with a big slit at the back. I pleaded but she would have none of it. Hospital policy she said. I was a bit irked with the way she just coldly rejected my request. I decided to even the odds.
