Twenty-four year old, Brooke Thompson, has never been one to forgive and forget. Convinced she can make it on her own, she has kept everyone at a distance. So when she gets a phone call one day from her estranged mother Kim, her world is turned upside down. She has cancer. Now, Brooke must leave the big lights of New York City to the small town of Sansville, Georgia to live with the mother who she has never been able to forgive. Through trials neither of them could have imagined, Brooke learns that letting go of old wounds might be harder then she thought.
