The Padnell Prowler

It's 1958 and two groups of 'nearly' teenagers have just started their summer holidays in Cowplain, a village in Hampshire, England, when the mysterious Prowler is spotted and threatens to put an end to their fun. Even worse is to follow when Ten, the leader of The Bramble Gang, discovers a dead body in the woods ... Helped by PeeDee and The Flag Boys, Ten and PeeDee set about solving the mysteries with results that neither of them expect.
