IDUNNA #84 (Summer 2010) focused on the Alfar, beings known from Norse mythology and Scandinavian folklore. Kveldulf Gundarsson and Jordsvin both review what is known from mythology about the alfar, and Frigga Asraaf describes her personal experiences working with these beings. Ben Waggoner contributes translations of an excerpt from "The Saga of Thorstein Far-Traveller", as well as translations of Icelandic folk tales about alfar. Nan Edwards adds an original short story. The usual columnists have their say, and there's poetry, book and music reviews, and more!
