Three Men in a Niva

After three years of living and working in Kazakhstan as a development worker, Tim Healing decides to take one last trip to explore the remote areas of Kyrgyzstan and southern Kazakhstan. Without any planning whatsoever, he sets off with two friends, a “Sean Connery look-alike” and a “nervous Scotsman,” on a journey of a lifetime. Encounters with a former Russian tank driver, an Olympic gold medal winner and a Beatles singing train conductor add to the tales of friendship and exploration with the backdrop of the beautiful Central Asian landscape.
