Diamond in the Rough

When you think of a diamond, what's the first image that comes to mind? A wedding ring encrusted with dazzling stones? A perfectly colorless, solitary gem emitting prismatic beams of light? As you can see from the cover of this book, a natural diamond looks like neither of these. What you see is an asymmetrical, completely un-fabulous, greasy looking pebble. The journey a rough diamond makes in order to become a high-value jewel is a difficult one; not unlike our own lives as we move toward God's purposes and see ourselves set apart for his glory.
