Catalogue of Syriac Manuscripts

The Syriac manuscript collection at the British Library (formerly at the British Museum) is one of the largest and most important of collections in any Western library. A great deal of the collection comes from Deir al-Suryan in Egypt, and without it our knowledge of Syriac Christianity today would not have been possible. William Wright provides a detailed catalogue of this collection in three volumes. This is volume one in the collection. This is a facsimile edition and therefore all orders are received on the understanding that the quality of the volume is a little variable though entirely suitable for study.
