Amazons are hardly mentioned at all, even though archaeologists have unearthed the graves of female warriors. Yet, archaeologists have excavated towns and cities far older than this back in the Neolithic age. Scientists have for most of the 20th century told the public that man evolved from the apes when he climbed down the trees and learnt to hunt game on the Savannah.
