A Coping Spider is a philosophical mixture of sex and violence, science and religion, as it is a psychological thriller/ science fiction novel. It discusses violence in the schools, gay rights, Christianity idolatry, cloning, society, religion, and science, all while being a linear and gripping story with surprises at every corner and a surprise ending. A hemophobe learns to overcome his fear of blood after visiting a prurient psychic. A 12 year old genius has a dimented plan, while an eccentric New Age family deals with her and themselves.
