“The dinosaurs, t-t-they’re real!” Wash screeched. He stood up and paced around. “Th-they’re giant! Humongous! I-I-I saw them! Two of them! One was as big as me on my horse! Th-the other one it, it ate that one! It was so big it split trees!” Wash turned and stared at Adamas. “We need to turn back. Now!” Adamas let out a slight chuckle. “We can’t turn back quite yet Doctor, we must reach the other side.” “Those things will eat us if we don’t!” “We’re men, Wash, no animal could kill us.” “Plenty of things on the Eastside can kill us. Now we’re dealing with animals so big they can break trees. We’re in a whole new world, Adamas. And the dinosaurs know their place in it and now we have to figure out ours, and I can assure you it's not where you think it is.”
