Michael Kean holds a first-class honours degree in accounting by thesis, with sub-major in computing science. He has been a certified practicing accountant for over 10 years and is a professional member of the Institute of Internal Auditors - Australia. He holds a graduate certificate in Internal Auditing, a graduate certificate in Risk Management, and an advanced certificate in Marketing Management with distinction. His earliest university training was in electrical engineering. Michael also has several years’ experience as a business consultant, and as senior research assistant and accounting tutor at the University of Technology, Sydney. Michael has Life Coaching accreditation with Authentic Education. Michael’s experience in many and varied commercial roles, academic research, report writing, coaching, presenting, and teaching make him well-placed to conduct research and present observations and ideas in the many areas of Emergentism explored in The Emergent Method.
