Gordon Matney was born and raised in Oakland, California. He earned a degree in Fine Arts at the University of Utah in 1980. Returning to the Bay Area in 1984, he joined numerous art associations. His artwork has been showcased in Bay Area art galleries throughout the years. His fans find his work not only interesting and fun but abundantly jam-packed with witty humor and bold statements.
