W.D. Houghton worked for the FBI for 30 years as a senior Intelligence Analyst who identified spies and terrorists. He retired in 2007 and now lives on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state with his wife and son. He enjoys writing historial nonfiction, teaching, and collecting artifacts from around the world. For over 50 years, he has collected ancient art, Chinese jade artifacts, antiques, and fine collectables. He has started a small eBay store "Houghton-USA" to sell some of his collection to museums and to other collectors from around the world.
