I grew up around poker. My grandparents had 11 children and to make ends meet, used to play poker. They were excellent poker players. When I was a child and we would go to my grandparents’ house, I used to sit on the corner of the table and watch the adults play poker. I caught on pretty quick. A little later on, I would talk my friends into playing poker with me to win some extra money. When I was 16, my parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles finally let me play with them. I have never stopped playing and loving the game. I am glad that there are so many good books out there to help me evolve into a better poker player. I play poker many times per week and notice a difference everytime I apply myself to this game. The better I get, the more pleasure I get out of it, not to mention the money.
