I was born in Ordsall, in the City of Salford, and have lived here for most of my life. I have always been interested in writing poetry, but never really thought about books until I joined our local Writers' Group in 2010. I wrote my first song, 'Heartbreak', in 2011, and my first short story, 'The Journey' a little later. I've written other poems, more songs, and, finally, my first book, the following year. Thanks to Mike Scantlebury for showing me how to publish it on Lulu and for all the encouragement over the years. Thanks too to Sylvia for proof-reading and to the rest of the group, who have always been very supportive.
