Why did you write the book? To apply career investigative skills to family names, Highland Clan records, and beyond, and thereby provide my 3 children, 5 grandchildren and relatives with their proven history and mine to pre-Roman and the Mediterranean, spanning 3,500 years. I was then able to explain- I was the 2nd Author, the 3rd Police Inspector, and our inherited natural horsemanship was in the genes. I was inspired by malt whisky and Robert Burns, the National Poet of Scotland, when setting his origins to historical events that influenced him. I became poetic and truly understood 'we are indeed - brothers the world over'! I realised that by publishing I could also help others (in the UK), and those who crossed the seas (USA and Canada) (Europe and the Med), all to find their very own history too!
