Shanae Govan, a native of Crossett, Arkansas, has emerged into a purposeful life through her love for the game of basketball. She is currently a young rookie coach in the rural Mississippi Delta at a local private school. Shanae found her passion through her early experiences growing up in a single-parent home, falling in love with the game that taught her about life, and developing a relationship with God, which changed her life forever. She desires to continue being an active advocate for current and future millennials while pursuing destiny through her love for coaching, mentoring, and educating.
