Jakcelys Laureano is a first-time published author, aspiring nurse, and devoted follower of Jesus Christ who was raised in Central Florida surrounded by the love and support of her big family. Living with Sickle Cell Disease has shaped much of her journey, inspiring her to share her testimony of faith, perseverance, and purpose through this book. As a worshipper at her church, Jakcelys strives to live according to God’s will in every season of her life. Her passion for helping others has led her to pursue a nursing degree, with hopes of making a difference through compassion, care, and faith-centered service.
