Mark Kelliher - the author of "The Nimrod" - has been a career-long professional writer, screenwriter, journalist and TV/Film creative. He was the Senior Writer of "Geppetto's Place", an original puppet show from the creative team responsible for "Robot Chicken" on Cartoon Network. After shooting the pilot,"Geppetto's Place" was signed to a shopping and development deal with Shadow Machine Films who produce numerous shows for the network's popular Adult Swim programming. Additionally, Mark worked on-location with the Farrelly Brothers on major motion pictures such as: "Me,Myself and Irene" with Jim Carrey, Renee Zellweger and Anthony Anderson &"Osmosis Jones" with Bill Murray, Molly Shannon and Chris Rock. For several years he was also a talent agent in Hollywood where he represented many of the finest voice actors in the world. His writing has appeared in numerous publications including: Boston Magazine, the San Diego Reader, Rhode Island Arts Quarterly and others.
