Yeah, I once had wealth, power, and the love of many beautiful women. Now I only have three things: a family, bills and, uh, my thermos. I should be surfing right now but I only have 15 minutes to make a freakin' PTA meeting and I need coffee! Sorry, where was I? Oh yeah, my story. Okay. It was never easy for me. I was born a middle class white child with good looks, physical prowess and a forked tongue. The usual hurdles. I remember the days, sittin' on the porch with my family, singin' and dancin' down through the bayou that is Ventura Blvd. But those were the glory days. Before I was a babbling dancing fool (a new dad). before I sold my soul for a sparkly ring, a fist full of baby puffs and the thickened hide needed to withstand the black hole where a man's life is torn apart (the baby nursery at night). Grit, skill, luck, a clown nose and intestinal fortitude are just some of the things I needed to cobble together some success as a new man, husband and dad. And it's all worth it!
