Bill O'Byrne lived with his wife in St. Petersburg, Russia from 1993 to 2015, where they raised their four children and served with Church Resource Ministries/Novo Mission Inc.. Bill taught Spiritual Formation and Biblical Studies at St. Petersburg Christian University. He now lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and since 2016 leads the Order of Imago Christi -- the covenant community of spiritual formation ministry, which he co-founded in 2003. Bill leads seminars and coaches leaders in their spiritual formation, and mentors Christian leaders in applying the insights of spiritual formation to their churches and ministry contexts. Bill grew up in East Setauket on Long Island, New York across from the Roe Tavern, a local hub of the Culper Spy Ring during the Revolutionary War, inspiring three titles related to the Culper Spies.
