Greetings! Allow me to introduce myself... Having written creatively since about the age of 8, I enjoy many genres as my "pallet." Firstly, as a young child I wrote poetry and then developed my taste for writing (and reading) fiction. In Junior High, my first "publication" came when I wrote a children's story about a dog named "Strawberry" which was published in our High School Paper. The teacher who published my work that year whet my appetite, and then he trained me throughout my school career both with creative writing and with "news" writing. It was through this that I decided I wanted to be a journalist. That changed in college as I began to question the ethics of that field. In my adult life, I have written several children's stories, mostly for my children and grandchildren. I also have some fictional/adult works in the making and plan to showcase them here, and grow my portfolio. Writing is a therapeutic tool for me, as I hope reading it is for you!!
