Prof. Barlow earned his bachelors degree in Physics from The University of Florida and a PhD in Materials Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. He has taught college courses in the physical sciences for over 25 years and has published more than 30 scientific articles. He is the author of the textbooks Introduction to Physics with Calculus and Intermediate Electromagnetic Theory. Prof. Barlow typically resides somewhere between Tampa and Nashville, but not always.
