Freya spent her early childhood growing up in West Yorkshire, England, where she would spend hours playing in the garden, making up stories with her toys. Then at ten years old, Freya and her family moved to Aotearoa, New Zealand, the land of the long white cloud. Here Freya found her love for writing whilst still at school. She would spend nights writing the beginnings of stories, lyrics and poems, admittedly when she should have been doing homework though this helped to harness what was a passion and turn it into a career. At the age of 21, in the early stages of her writing, Freya got the opportunity; to work in Australia, which enabled her to still work on writing projects alongside nannying one of her little cousins. Freya now resides in a beach town where she spends time writing, reading, walking on the local beach and relaxing doing yoga. At 27, Freya has, self-published her debut short story and can't wait to publish many more short and longer novels.
