Hi, I’m from Nigeria. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in History and Politics and a Master’s degree in Journalism. I have been writing since 1990, drawing inspiration from art, technology, and music. My interests span spirituality, history, politics, and journalism—fields I believe can be harnessed to make the world a better place. Perhaps I’m an idealist, but that belief continues to drive my work. My first book, The Ikoyi Prison Narratives, recounts my experiences at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre in Lagos following the 1993 arrest of the late Nigerian musician Fela Anikulapo Kuti, who was charged with murder.
