Helge Mercker was born and raised in Namibia. In 1996 her spirit for adventure took her to Washington State, USA, where she worked as a pharmacist for 15 years. After going through a profound spiritual awakening she followed her soul desire in being of service to her homeland and people and returned to Namibia where she established a welfare organization, Childrens Sanctuary Namibia, serving orphaned, vulnerable and neglected children of indigenous San-people.
