Queen Candi was born in lavonia,ga and grew up in Jacksonville fl. She is a spoken word artist that has been writing since the age of 16 and has been performing since 2017. She got her start at the Ritz theatre for their amateur night where she placed third and advanced to the semifinals. She then went on to perform at Jazz Poetry Cafe for a year at their open mic where she started to build her fanbase. Her first album " Pain, Purpose and Survival" was released in 2018 and she has been performing in different places like miami, Atlanta and Jacksonville. She is currently working on her new album titled "QueenCandi" which will be released in 2022 and is an author as well her book "Pain, Purpose and Survival" is available on amazon now. Queen Candi is also a model that has done many fashion shows (Jacksonville and Atlanta) and has had the opportunity to work with many photographers in locations in Florida ( marineland, ocala, tampa, miami, Atlanta, Jacksonville, cocoa beach and Orlando). She has also been in 10 music videos that can be seen on YouTube (" bring a friend", "radio", " shoot ya shot", and " pay you no attention") . Queen Candi is now the CEO of Military Camp Records and is now producing her own music and beats. She is also now the host of her own podcast titled Thequeencandipodcast and can be heard on many platforms (Anchor, I Heart Radio,Goodpods The CTR Media Network, WBGRTV Network and WUNK radio!!)
