Bas Timmers (Oss, the Netherlands, 1972) has been working at the crossroads of communication and innovation for most of his career. Initially as a journalist at newspapers in the Netherlands, later as innovation consultant and project lead for marketing agencies in Berlin. He has been writing books about his passions (travel, football and innovation) for almost two decades. Two books in Dutch about German football have been published in his native country by Staantribune publishers.
